JOB SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator is a hands-on representative whose job is to help coordinate and facilitate all tasks for Human Resources & Payroll functions as it relates to the implementation of a new Human Capital Management (HCM) software system. The Human Resources Coordinator with diverse yet substantive job responsibilities is a key position to the project s success. This is a full time temporary position for the duration of the project that is expected to last up to 18 months. The position will report the to the Project Director.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Manage all logistics related to meetings and working session related Executive Steering Committee, Steering Committee, PMO, Workstreams. 2. Assists with completing schedules and project plans. 3. Assists with documentation of decisions, risks and outcomes. 4. Responsible for providing efficient office and organizational support. 5. Responsible for tracking labor efforts related to implementation project and submitted hours to Finance. 6. Assists with tracking project costs and completing Requests for Payments as needed. 7. Develops HR programs/educational materials and presents presentations to leadership and employee forums. 8. Primary contact for general questions related to HCM implementation project. 9. Responsible for making travel arrangements for implementation team as needed. 10. Assists in auditing during testing cycles. 11. Acts as training coordinator for HCM. 12. Assists with coordination and communication of day-to-day project activities. 13. Performs other duties as required or assigned for which employee is qualified to perform.
SPECIFIC POSITION DUTIES: COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrates well-developed communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates a professional demeanor. Demonstrates proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint & Outlook. Demonstrates proficiency in written, oral and electronic communication skills (interpersonal/communication and technological effectiveness competencies). Demonstrates ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities to a timely and successful completion. Demonstrates a familiarity with human resource practices and employment law. Demonstrates a high regard for confidentiality.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is typically performed in an office environment. Independent travel to the sites throughout the system and surrounding communities may be required. Must be available to work flexible hours. Use of personal vehicle required.
