Phlebotomist I

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is the frontline representative of the company to patients visiting for routine health care or critical health decisions. This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing, adhering strictly to established protocols. The PSR I ensures a trusting, confident atmosphere by skillfully, safely, and accurately explaining and performing blood draws. Emphasizing leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy, the PSR I plays a vital role in patient experience and data integrity.

• Perform daily specimen collection and processing activities accurately and within designated timelines under supervisor guidance.

• Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

• Conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collection following established procedures confidently and accurately.

• Maintain and document required records meticulously.

• Demonstrate organizational commitment and foster a positive image for patients, clients, employees, and the public.

• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling patient information.

• Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as staffing needs require.

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.

• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience REQUIRED.

• One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
