Phlebotomist I
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location:Oakland Park, FL
Duration: 3 months
Shift: 6 am - 3 pm - Mon - Fri & Rotational Saturdays at another site.
Overview:
The PSR I is the front-line representative for patients and is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and ensuring a safe, professional, and compassionate patient experience. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws (including pediatric/geriatric), specimen prep, and data entry

Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety

Maintain accurate records and follow clinical protocols

Support lab operations with professionalism and confidentiality

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA)

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
-
6+ months of phlebotomy experience (required); 1+ year preferred

Strong customer service and data entry skills

Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
