User Support Technician
Job Title: IT Help Desk Support (Onsite)
Location: 250 Campus Drive, Marlborough, MA 01752
Duration: April 22, 2025 – October 21, 2025 (Extension Possible)
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Onsite Role – Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Role Overview:
We are seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk Support professional to provide day-to-day technical assistance and desktop support. The role includes handling break/fix tickets, assisting new hires, and supporting hardware/software installations. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with some after-hours coverage on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to help desk phone calls, tickets, and walk-up requests.

Troubleshoot issues and provide on-the-spot solutions where possible.

Route tickets to appropriate technicians or support groups.

Set up and support new hire IT equipment.

Provide local/remote support via Microsoft Teams.

Support and troubleshoot:
-
PC/laptop hardware and software
-
Printers, copiers, and other network peripherals
-
Enterprise/business applications
-
Telephone systems
-
-
Maintain and track loaner laptops and projectors.

Assist with hardware procurement, inventory, and disposal.

Travel to nearby Hologic sites as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Education: BA/BS in MIS, CIS, or a related technical field preferred.

Experience: 0–1 year in IT Help Desk support (educational/informal experience accepted).

Proficient with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.

Working knowledge of laptop and printer hardware.

Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange/O365.

Basic networking and wireless troubleshooting skills a plus.

Familiarity with IT service management tools (ServiceNow preferred).

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.

Ability to follow standard processes and procedures.
-
Team-oriented with a customer service mindset.
