Candidates must include years of experience and last use for the following, or their application will be rejected:
- Systems Analyst Experience: Minimum 7 years in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Science projects
- SQL Expertise: Minimum 7 years, including complex SQL query writing
- Datamart Design: Minimum 5 years designing DataMarts with a focus on Dimensional Modeling
- Power BI: Minimum 3 years designing and developing Power BI dashboards
Top Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst (7+ years) in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Science projects
- SQL expertise with the ability to craft complex queries (7+ years)
- Datamart design experience with dimensional modeling (5+ years)
- Power BI dashboard design and development (3+ years)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including project and process documentation
- Ability to develop impactful presentations and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and implement solutions with minimal guidance
Soft Skills / Team Fit Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Power Apps
High-Level Project Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and develop new data engineering, analytical, and data science applications, as well as enhancements to existing systems
- Collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to define business requirements, systems goals, and resolve business systems issues
- Operate independently on complex projects across all phases of system analysis
- Formulate system objectives based on user needs
- Develop or refine procedures to address complex challenges within operational and IT system constraints
- Guide and advise less experienced Systems Analysts
- Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI
Job Duties:
- Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide system programmers
- Coordinate and perform in-depth testing, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
- Provide orientation and training to end users on new or modified systems
- Create and deliver effective presentations to colleagues and stakeholders
- Document standards and procedures for analytic platforms
- Develop test cases and validate results
- Coach and transfer knowledge to less experienced team members
- Independently plan, organize, and conduct work assignments
Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Candidate Background / Industry Experience:
- Prior experience in regulated industries is strongly preferred
