Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr. on W2

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, or Shift Supervisors, the RRT provides comprehensive respiratory care and manages supportive equipment according to department policies. The role involves patient education, treatment, diagnostic evaluation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, or Shift Supervisors, the RRT provides comprehensive respiratory care and manages supportive equipment according to department policies. The role involves patient education, treatment, diagnostic evaluation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Essential Duties:
- Deliver respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
- Assist with intubation and manage ventilators, including setup and monitoring.
- Collect and evaluate patient information to determine respiratory care needs.
- Provide disease-specific education to patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team to promote optimal outcomes.
- Document patient education and care accurately.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
- Follow all organizational competencies and behavioral standards.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and pushing/pulling a minimum of 5 lbs. and standing at least 1 hour daily.
- Maintain regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.
