Job Description: Job Profile Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will provide support for the planning, development and implementation of the go-to-market plans and will assist in the development of marketing programs targeted to adults aged 65+ who are also veterans or retirees of the US Military. They will help to refine our value proposition, develop sales enablement tools, and lead generation and retention tools and campaigns for Medicare Advantage plans aimed at the Veteran population.
Job Description
1. Coordinate initiatives for specific b2c programs/campaigns in direct marketing, advertising, promotion, special events, collateral, web site and other means that convey a unified and distinctive leadership presence in the marketplace.
2. Collaborates with appropriate business partners to develop and coordinate initiatives in advertising, promotion, sponsorship, special events, collateral, web site and other means that convey a unified image in the marketplace.
3. Assist Director of Partnerships develop and nurture relationships with statewide Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs).
4. Coordinate campaign process including writing creative briefs and coordination of campaign requests.
5. Ensures all campaigns are reviewed and approved by the relevant business partners and have strong financial justification (ROI).
6. Act as point of contact with outside agencies on multi-channel advertising and marketing campaigns.
7. Assists with the development of all marketing-related regulatory materials required to do business for Government Programs products.
8. Responsible for assisting the Marketing Department in general day-to-day marketing tasks
9. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be a Veteran, honorably discharged from one of the US Armed Services
Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively multitask
Experience working in deadline-driven and/or regulated environments
Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); basic understanding of Adobe Acrobat
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in the health insurance industry, particularly Medicare, a plus.
Some travel within NJ required to attend meetings and assist meeting preparation
