Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Miami, FL

Shift:

• Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

• Rotational Saturdays: 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM (for 4+ months)

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I is the frontline face of the company, responsible for providing a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for patients. This role performs clinical and forensic specimen collection, including blood draws, while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws and specimen processing accurately and safely

• Explain procedures clearly and create a calm, trusting patient experience

• Maintain documentation, records, and patient confidentiality

• Follow all safety, quality, and process standards

• Represent the organization positively to patients and the public

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

• Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric experience required)

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• Excellent customer service and data entry skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Requirements:

• Reliable personal transportation required (rideshare/bus not accepted)

• Must be punctual, flexible, and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the worksite

• Resume must list home city and commute time

• Pay rate based on direct years of phlebotomy experience only
