Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Portfolio & Operations Manager to support a 6-month project. This role will focus on streamlining operational processes, driving efficiencies, managing contracts and payments, and creating impactful visualizations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with a proven ability to navigate a matrixed corporate environment.

We are seeking a highly experienced and collaborative Portfolio & Operations Manager to support a 6-month project. This role will focus on streamlining operational processes, driving efficiencies, managing contracts and payments, and creating impactful visualizations to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, along with a proven ability to navigate a matrixed corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Lead onboarding to tools and processes during the first ~90 days, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Analyze and enhance workflows across the team and broader organization.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Apply a change management approach to support transitions to new processes.
- Develop executive-level presentations and visual reports using PowerPoint.
- Create dashboards and operational insights using Airtable or similar platforms.
- Communicate effectively across a matrixed organization, including senior leadership.
- Manage contract lifecycles including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewals.
- Oversee payment processes and vendor relationships.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree required.
- 8 9 years minimum experience in operations management or related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, especially in navigating matrixed organizations.
- Expertise in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
- Experience with Airtable and/or Smartsheet.
- Solid background in financial management (budgeting, forecasting, planning).
- Proven experience in SOP documentation and process efficiency.
- Prior Client experience preferred.
- Experience with vendors in a corporate business operations context is ideal.

Work Environment
- This is an on-site role at WHQ, with WFH Fridays currently permitted.
- Flexibility is required as Client policy may change, and ETWs may be expected to work on-site 5 days a week.
