Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Chehalis, WA 98532
Job Duration: 3+ Months (With possibility of extension)
Shift time: 4-day week, 6:00 - 4:30 (extended hours or weekend work may be required if projects require)
Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr. on w2 contract
Job description:
Qualifications:
• Highly organized and incredibly self-sufficient; yet have ability to take directions, learn and adapt to new and changing circumstances
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, (in English), possess basic mathematical skills
• Computer literate
• Must be able to work in areas that have low to moderate noise level and often present strong odors
• Able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and climb stairs to handle supplies, as well as sit using a computer or operating a forklift
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Vision ability to include close reading on computer screen, as well as focus across warehouse
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., steel toed shoes)
• Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to outside weather variations
• Ability to operate in a food safe environment
Duties:
• Pulling, staging, and pumping up and draining blends
• Start-up, shutdown, and cleaning centrifuges
• Filling drums to accurate requirements
• Fork-lift certified, unloading, and loading trucks, moving and storage of inventory within three warehouses
• Staging, labelling, and banding orders for shipment
• Operate and clean production units within the facility
• Understand and execute paperwork associated with production orders
• Keep all paperwork, production orders, shipping paperwork, and inventory up to date
• Memorize the codes and understand all the oil types in use
• Ensure that equipment is maintained and in excellent and safe working condition
• Confidentiality of work-related items is an absolute
• Ensure production is closed properly
• Other duties as assigned
