Job Overview:
As a PSR I, you are the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a positive patient experience. You’ll perform phlebotomy (including pediatric and geriatric), explain procedures clearly, and maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process clinical/forensic specimens following protocols

• Ensure accuracy in documentation and specimen handling

• Deliver excellent customer service and build patient trust

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment

• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Medical or phlebotomy training preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• 6+ months experience required; 1+ year preferred

• Strong phlebotomy and data entry skills

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime)

• Reliable personal transportation (no bus/rideshare)

Additional Info:

• Must live within 20–25 minutes of the worksite

• Commute time must be included on resume

• Punctuality and consistent attendance are strictly enforced
