Duration: 2–3 Months
Shift/Time Zone: Mon – Fri, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM, with rotating Sat 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Pay Rate: $20/hr. on W2
Job Summary:
The Phelobotomist I serves as the face of the company to patients, whether they are receiving routine tests or critical health assessments. The PSR I is responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to all safety and procedural guidelines.
They are expected to maintain a professional environment, build patient trust, and perform duties with confidence and accuracy, all while demonstrating leadership, process excellence, and a high regard for confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Draw blood specimens from patients, ensuring skillful, safe, and accurate collection.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures.
- Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
- Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily tasks under supervisor direction.
- Maintain all required records and documentation.
- Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, co-workers, and the general public.
- Demonstrate strong organizational commitment and uphold confidentiality standards.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to produce high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and be on-call as needed.
- Strong customer service skills, especially in retail or service environments.
- Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum: 6 months of relevant work experience.

- 1+ years of phlebotomy experience.
- Customer service experience in a retail/service environment.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
