Job Title: Multi-Disciplined Engineer II
Location: Newton, NC
Duration: 12 Months+ possible extension

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-5 but can be slightly flexible with the exact hours.
 
Job Description:
Summary:

• Provide 2nd level technical expertise in PLC controls-based troubleshooting and continuous improvement in support of new production line installation.
• Follow direction from a Sr Controls Engineer. Enhance manufacturing capabilities through the implementation of new ideas and methods.
• Independently execute project objectives to fulfil overall project goals and milestones.

 
Requirements:

• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming
• Knowledge of controls systems design, programming, and systems integration
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong written & oral communications skills
• Actively participate in all phases of projects including design, fabrication, off-line integration and testing, installation, production start-up support, training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
• Individual must be capable of executing project assignments, in a team-based environment, with minimal supervision

 
Education:

• Desired AAS or Higher. 3 additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of formal education (for a total of 10).

 
Experience:

• 7+ Years working with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and safety systems and structured programming, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
