Job Description: The shift will be M-F 7am-3:30pm
Ability to work independently and in a team setting performing both simple and complex tasks
Troubleshoot basic fluidic and electronic components
Strong communication skills
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Ensure operation of custom automated laboratory equipment by completing preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with IDT s quality policyTroubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, fluidic, and optical devices/systems, as well as PLC controlled systems.Practices safe working habits, follows all IDT safety policies, identifies, corrects, and reports potential safety hazards.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or GED
Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Reading and interpreting blue prints and equipment schematics
Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience
