Job Title: Credentialing Specialist
Location: New York, NY 10004
Duration: 05/25/2026 – 07/18/2026
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Schedule: 5 days/week, 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week
Pay Range: $26-$29/hr.
Schedule Notes:
- All work is performed onsite (not remote)
- Location: Open to all facilities (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens) EXCEPT Central Office

Job Summary / Duties:
- Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers as outlined in corporate policy and procedures or hospital bylaws
- Utilize MDStaff credentialing software application to perform and monitor credentialing/background checks while maintaining accuracy and data integrity
- Responsible for interpretation and compliance with appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of statutes and laws relating to credentialing
