Responsible for performing some of the daily functions related to the processing of mail, retrieving documents, scanning documents, handling prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures, links order entry, data perfection, completing orders, and supporting any other Pharmacy Clerk (ROCC) area needs. Through your skills and knowledge, you will demonstrate solid commitment to customer satisfaction and quality, while offering solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Typical daily tasks include processing and distributing inbound non-production and outbound mail utilizing the latest processing techniques and equipment, accurately handling and entering prescriptions into the order entry and or links system, and/or review and resolution of prescription exceptions. To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.
Position Summary:
1. Data entry, typing.
2. Using computers, phones, fax machines and other office equipment
3. Processing mail either electronic or paper (manual).
4. Reading and reviewing orders.
5. Regular and predictable attendance.
6. Colleague will be required to work overtime/extended work week when needed.
Duties:

Experience:
1. 6+ months of experience in a data entry work environment.
2. 3+ months of experience working with Windows based applications.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
ability to type 35-40 wpm
What days & hours will the person work in this position? List training hours, if different.
M-F 8-4:30 rotating Saturday every 3 weeks 6-2:30, training will be 8-430 M-F.
