MRI Tech
Job Title: MRI Technologist - Travel
Location: Albany, NY
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Pay - $65/hr - $70/hr.
We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.
Schedule Notes:
Work Hours: 40 hours per week (10-hour shifts)
Shift Timing: Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist, under the direction of the Medical Director and Radiologist, provides diagnostic MRI imaging and assists in the evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Responsibilities include performing MRI scans for inpatients, outpatients, ICU, research patients, and specialized MRI-guided procedures. The role requires a commitment to safe practice, continuous learning, and providing patients with a positive experience.
Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans on patients across all acuity levels

Assist in clinical evaluation and care of patients in a trauma and academic setting

Support teaching and ongoing education as MRI technology evolves

Maintain accurate records and uphold safety protocols

Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality imaging
Skills & Requirements:
-
Certification: ARRT (MRI) and/or equivalent

Experience: 2+ years as MRI Technologist

Education: Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

Physical & Work Environment Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced Level I trauma center; comfort working with critically ill patients and performing intensive care scans
Additional Requirements:

Must possess BLS certification
