Job Title: Payer Solutions Contracting Advisor
Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite)
Duration: 5+ Months (With Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexible start time; may begin as early as 7:00 AM)
 
Position Overview:
The Payer Solutions Contracting Advisor is responsible for drafting, redlining, and preparing non-standard and standard client contracts while facilitating negotiations independently. The advisor will collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, business subject matter experts, and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes quality improvement initiatives and process efficiency across the contracting lifecycle.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, prepare, and negotiate client contracts with a high degree of independence.
  • Serve as contracting representative in internal and external meetings.
  • Work with Legal, Finance, and subject matter experts to draft accurate, operationally sound contractual language.
  • Track and manage redlines, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain multiple contract versions.
  • Write contract letters, notices, and other business communications.
  • Participate in contract strategy sessions, negotiation calls, and follow-up activities.
  • Partner with Contract Admin team to review and update agreement templates with Legal approval.
  • Archive and disseminate executed agreements per contracting team processes.
  • Support process improvement efforts and educate team members on best practices.
  • Perform quality checks and support ad hoc contract-related projects.
  • Maintain and manage contracting library and documentation systems.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Paralegal certification (CP or RP) strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years drafting contractual language.
  • Background in health insurance, healthcare, or third-party administration is preferred.
