Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a transformative and passionate Sr. Professional to join our Global Employee & Executive Communications team. This role helps lead our internal global activations and experiences strategy for employees and drives innovative, experiential and high visibility programming globally, from our World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. The role also helps lead our Editorial & Storytelling Communications strategy and execution. This person will be responsible for ensuring our employee engagement and storytelling resonates in other locations and across our distributed workforce around the world.

A strong candidate brings a background and love for concepting, focused on immersive and engaging employee experiences through new approaches, formats and platforms. They are savvy when it comes to virtual and hybrid physical/digital experiences, executive and editorial communications, and brings ideas for demonstrating new ways to reach global employee audiences in creative ways

They are bold and strategic when it comes to pitching and creating storylines, and at the same time, they understand how to oversee a well-run and efficient event/experience including the basics of budgets, timelines, etc. They love sports and have a strong knowledge in sport culture, and they are excited to create some magical moments for employees centered around sport, product innovation, brand and athlete storytelling, anchored by mission.


What You Will Work On
If this is you, you’ll be an important part of our Global Employee and Executive Communications team. You will create, socialize, direct and deliver a global strategy that brings our Inc. narrative to life in meaningful, fun and innovative ways for employees.
 
Job Description:
You will:
  • Design and produce experiences on a global scale, at our World Headquarters, and create events and programs that locations around the world can implement, in support of our company narrative
  • Play an integral role leading and driving strategy, planning and production for global employee engagement, and executive-focused leadership engagements, across all employee audiences
  • Support editorial and content communications across global channels
  • Bring a strong writing skillset with the ability to draft copy for internal stories, event posts and additional copy for all internal global channels as needed.
  • Proactively recommend editorial stories and ideas that resonate with all, Inc.’s employee audiences
  • Ensure high-visibility, high-profile experiences are communicated on our global platforms and play a role in event logistics and planning
  • Provide partnership, guidance, toolkits and best practices to Communications teammates working across our geographies and functions to amplify and deliver on the global plan
  • Bring a passion and love of sport to our employee base around the world
  • In a typical week, you and the team might create an unforgettable experience for employees with a visiting athlete at our World Headquarters, meet with potential external partners to explore a new digital event format and develop an editorial strategy to support our overall employee engagement plan.
 
Who You Will Work With:
As part of the Global Employee & Executive Communications team, you will work closely with teammates passionate about content creation, comms platforms, design and editorial, and partner with various communications teams across the company, such as Enterprise, Storytelling & Publishing, Consumer, Brand & Product and Geo communications teams. Your network will also extend well beyond Global Communications to include partners from Marketing, Sports Marketing, Design, Product and more.
 
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
6+ years of professional experience in a creative environment, communications, event concepting, editorial and content strategy
Love of trying new things and concepting and implementing innovative ideas
Digital experience, particularly in strong virtual or hybrid events
Ability to prep senior leaders and be a trusted advisor ahead of and during moments that have executive presence
Skilled in overseeing timelines, budgets and workback schedules to drive efficiency and results
Passion for and knowledge of sport
Strong skills for managing multiple projects at once with competing deadlines Experience working within a large team and ability to clearly communicate ideas and influence plans across team members and leadership levels
Strong verbal communications and writing skills
Curiosity; love of learning and exposure to new insights
Resiliency, adaptability and comfort in ambiguity; ability to guide others through a dynamic work environment
Great relationship building skills and a collaborative approach
 
Notes from HM:
  • Notes:
    This role is onsite at WHQ and coving for a parental leave. They’ll be a Sr professional for Global Employee Communications. They’ll help manage global experiences and lead campus wide events for Employees like - Maxims and JDI day. They’ll also help with Athlete visits - Q&As or events.

    Must Haves:
  • 6+ YEO as a Sr professional for Global Employee Communications and corporate event planning
  • Can think strategically for how experiences fit within programs and benefit employees. Grounding events in maxims (values) and in Sports - severing the Athletes. Adding education with fun, celebrating employees and teamwork
  • Story telling on Global employee channels - Work Vivo, Channel strategy, top stories to share and editorial moments, strong writing skills
 
Nice to Haves:
  • Passion and knowledge of sports
  • Strong presence, can be in front of executives and famous athletes, can communicate to high level athletes
  • Overseeing event timelines and budgets, very detailed oriented, tactical executioner
