Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Miami, FL
Shift: 5:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., rotational Saturdays
Duration: 3+ months

Overview:
The PSR I is the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent service while performing phlebotomy and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and creating a trusting patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw blood samples, including pediatric and geriatric, and prepare specimens for testing.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.

• Follow established clinical and forensic specimen collection procedures.

• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive company image.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant/paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred.

• Customer service and keyboard/data entry experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• Reliable transportation within 20–25 minutes of Miami, FL worksite.

• Punctuality and full shift attendance required; excessive absenteeism may result in termination.

• Deliver high-quality, error-free work consistently.
