Cath Lab Tech

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Pompton Plains, NJ – 07444
Initial Duration: 3 Months + contract (High possibilities of Extension)

Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM/ 8 AM – 6 PM (variable)
(4 x10 hr shifts)

Pay Range:
Local Pay: $65 - $70/hr. on w2 (Negotiable)
 
Note:
  • You can refer your friends or colleagues for this role or any other RN role, we do offer a referral bonus of $750.
  • Stipend is also provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Other locations available in NJ.
  • Local/Travel Contracts available in multiple departments in all states.

Job Summary:
  • Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI (STEMI) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.
  • Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic data.
  • Provide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedure
  • Assess and manage access site and inform physician.
  • Adhere to on call protocol for Cath lab.
  • Prepare patient for procedures.
 
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
 
Certifications & Licenses:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist
 
Skills:
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist
  • RCIS certification preferred
  • Cardiac Cath lab experience required
