Medical Tech
Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (Night Shift)
Location: 610 W Main St, Wilmington, OH 45177
Shift: Night Shift | 9:00 PM 7:30 AM | 5 days/week
Duration: 20 Weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Role Overview
The Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology. The role involves sample collection, quality control documentation, and ensuring adherence to compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, microbiology, and blood bank.

Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks accurately and compassionately.

Maintain and update records related to lab maintenance and quality control.

Meet scheduled lab service goals and report issues to the lab director promptly.

Uphold company policies, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, and relevant laws and standards.

Monitor team performance and support compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma (minimum required).

Graduate of a MT/MLT program accredited by ABHES, CAHEA, or other HHS-approved body.

ASCP Certification (must be included with submission).

Minimum 3 years of recent hospital-based MT/MLT experience.

Proven experience in Blood Bank / Transfusion Services.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on night shifts.
