Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Mesquite, NV
Duration: 3 months+ with possible extension
 
Shift: Mon - Fri 8 am – 5 pm/Pacific time zone
 
Pay range: $19 - $23/hr. on W2
 
Job Description: 
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
 
Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence, following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Provide a high level of customer service to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
• Ensure all blood samples are collected in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.

 
Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Nevada State Phlebotomy Certificate required
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting.

 
Additional Job Details:

• Reliable transportation is mandatory (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not acceptable).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Must demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Candidates must reside within a 20–25-minute commute of the worksite to ensure reliable and timely travel.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for success in this role.
