Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer Receiving inspection,
Job Responsibilities:
  • Completes and verifies quality assurance activities, prepares and submits quality deliverables, works under limited supervision, and ensures compliance with established procedures.
  • Implements supplier process control plans for critical quality parameters, verifies supplier components and products meet quality standards before release, performs supplier corrective actions, conducts thorough quality notifications reviews, analyzes supplier quality data, conducts supplier audits, and implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and product quality.
  • Executes quality assurance tasks, including assessing design, compliance, and risk management activities across project phases, applies data-driven practices such as root cause analysis.
  • Engages in change initiatives, and fosters impactful relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaborative working relationships within the quality assurance department.
  • Creates the predetermined level of quality awareness within the organization and implements necessary quality assurance processes and tools to guarantee product excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Enforces streamlined quality systems uniformly across business sites and participates in an efficient review process, encompassing regular reporting to facilitate organizational cohesion and compliance.
  • Reviews and approves nonconforming records related to warehouse material, executes delivery hold, and supports nonconformance management processes, including root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), all conducted within specified timelines.
  • Conducts routine quality inspections and audits across manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to identify deviations and non-conformities.
  • Participates in initiatives aimed at establishing uniform approaches and methodologies to promote uniformity within the supply base and facilitates cohesion and efficiency across operations.
  • Compiles data related to purchasing procedures to the IT and data applications team to facilitate integration, validation, and effective operationalization, ensuring the seamless functioning of systems and adherence to quality standards.
Minimum required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Science OR Vocational Education in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum required Experience:
Prior experience required with Bachelor's OR minimum 4 years of experience in areas such as Medical Device, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Quality Audit, Compliance Coordination or Warehouse Operations or equivalent with Vocational Minimum Required Qualifications

Tech Skills:
SAP preferred

work exp. in a regulated environment
