Title: Software Implementation Project Manager
Location: Houston, Texas ( Hybrid 4x a week on site- no exceptions)
Job Type: Contract – 6 months


7-10+ years of experience minimum!

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Implementation Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of software implementation project for Venminder (Risk Management) and Agiloft (Contract Management System). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of internal-facing software implementation projects, ensuring that they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and achieve all deliverables.
This role requires strong project management skills, experience in software deployments, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Management:
o Lead the full software implementation lifecycle from project initiation through to completion.
o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
o Monitor progress aProductst the project plan and adjust resources as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
o Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams, and third-party vendors during the implementation phase.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, quality assurance, and support, to ensure smooth implementation.
o Manage and resolve issues, risks, and roadblocks to avoid delays in the project timeline.
• Client Engagement and Support:
o Work closely with clients to gather requirements, define Product, and ensure alignment of expectations throughout the project.
o Lead regular meetings with internal teams and department leadership to provide updates on project status and address concerns.
o Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality implementation services within agreed-upon timeframes.
• Risk and Issue Management:
o Proactively identify potential project risks, develop mitigation plans, and resolve issues as they arise.
o Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team to the appropriate senior leaders in a timely manner.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, risk logs, and status reports.
o Provide regular project status updates to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
o Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, documented, and handed over in compliance with established standards.
• Post-Implementation Support:
o Coordinate the post-implementation phase to ensure successful system handoff to the client’s support team.
o Provide troubleshooting and assistance during the post-go-live phase to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:
o Proven experience (7+ years) as a Project Manager or in a similar role within software implementations or IT consulting.
o Strong experience managing software or technology implementation projects, including Product, timeline, budget, and quality control.
o Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise software solutions.
o Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
o Strong experience with Powerpoint needed for weekly updates.
o Strong experience working with a 3rd party software company given the Product of this project

Skills:
o Strong project management skills with proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project, etc.).
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and critically under pressure.
o Ability to lead teams and navigate complex client relationships effectively.

• Certifications (preferred but not required):
o PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
o Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
o Experience with Agiloft is a super plus!
