Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Lancaster, TX 75134
Duration: 4 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Job Description:
- Assist in planning and coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure 100% functionality of equipment to complete work orders and log corrective maintenance issues accurately.
- Perform minimal electrical repairs and troubleshoot systems including AC/DC motor controls, solid-state motor controls, and test equipment.
- Understand and support company objectives such as productivity, yield, food safety, quality, customer service, and cost control through daily work activities.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections, emergency repairs, routine adjustments, and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate professional workplace conduct by adhering to company policies including GMP compliance, attendance, punctuality, efficient work habits, and personal hygiene standards.
- Support Process Improvement (PI) projects and actively participate in safety teams.
- Serve as a resource for colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Develop skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and emergency repairs. Innovate solutions for recurring equipment problems.
- Utilize tools such as multimeters and other measuring instruments effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Ability to take direction and demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn electrical and pneumatic systems troubleshooting.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
