Materials Rep

Job Title: Materials Representative
Location: Whippany, NJ 07981
Duration: 3 months contract on W2 with high possibility of extension based on performance and business needs
Shift Timing: 5AM to 1AM EST Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

The Materials Representative on 1st shift receiving is responsible for the efficient unloading, processing, and storage of inbound freight. This includes receiving purchase orders in the ERP system, inducting inventory, and putting away stock using material handling equipment such as forklifts, turret trucks, and pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload and receive all inbound shipments and verify aProductst purchase orders.
Enter receiving data accurately into the ERP system.
Induct inventory and ensure proper put-away using material handling equipment.
Prepare and process cross-dock shipments to other AHS facilities.
Pull products to fulfil requirements and prepare for transport to AHS locations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.
Assist in various warehouse functions as needed, including forward picking zones and order consolidation.
Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.

Education Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Required Skills & Experience:
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
Prior warehouse or material handling experience
