Job Title: Financial Analyst II
Location: Hollywood, CA 90028
Duration: 6+ Months (Extension Possible)
Schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM PST
Pay Range: $42/hr. - $45/hr.
Description:
What are the main 3-5 responsibilities of this resource?
They will be collecting information from certain groups and Maintain amortization schedules, production cost tracking, and P&L updates, will do reconciliation and journal entries and accruals. Excel - need to be proficient, will work with existing files, not heavy financial modeling but will be extracting information. Familiarity with Oracle is very helpful. Being detail oriented will be very important, they will be trained but will primarily view existing files and need to adhere closely to those guidelines.
Qualifications:

Schedule: 9 AM - 6 PM PST
Pay Range: $42/hr. - $45/hr.
Description:
- Direct month-end close activities - including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany cost transfers, while ensuring strict adherence to SOX requirements and internal controls.
- Maintain amortization schedules, production cost tracking, and P&L updates.
- Own the monthly overhead forecast and headcount reporting, overseeing detailed variance analysis across payroll, T&E, and corporate allocations; Support planning function for annual budgets, and long range plans.
- Manage liquidity planning through overhead cash forecasting, international cash sweeps, and the oversight of royalty payments and affiliate revenue reconciliations.
- Contribute to various ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance/accounting required.
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Entertainment industry experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required; experience in Oracle, Cognos, TM1 a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
