Duration: 3+ Months
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with rotational Saturdays 6-10:30am EST
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients during health visits and specimen collections. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and maintaining a professional, patient-focused environment. The PSR II ensures accuracy, safety, and confidentiality while delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating leadership and organizational commitment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily specimen collection and processing tasks accurately and on time.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Collect forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures and safety standards.

Verify patient identification and labeling accuracy during and after specimen collection.

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Provide exceptional customer service while fostering patient trust and comfort.

Support multiple patient service centers or in-office phlebotomy sites as needed.

Uphold company policies, dress code, and patient confidentiality standards.

Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors.

Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Job Requirements:

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.

At least 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record required.

Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours (weekends, holidays, overtime).

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Comfortable working across multiple locations with minimal notice.

Keyboarding and data entry experience preferred.
Education & Certifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
-
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).
