Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3 months
Location: Chicago IL
Shift: M-F 8am - 4pm Alt Sat 7am -1pm
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the company to patients, whether they are visiting as part of routine care or for critical diagnostic testing. This role involves collecting high-quality blood specimens, ensuring proper sample preparation, and providing a professional and compassionate experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervisor guidance.

Create a safe, clean, and professional environment.

Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection with confidence and accuracy.

Verify patient demographics and labeling accuracy immediately post-venipuncture.

Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
-
Promote a positive, trustworthy, and respectful patient experience.

Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors and a strong focus on process excellence.
Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Strong attention to detail and ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Superior customer service and communication skills.
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable).

Comfortable with travel and flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.

Must adhere to company policies, dress code, and safety protocols.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Preferred:
-
Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA).

Medical training (e.g., Medical Assistant or Paramedic).
-
2+ years working in a Patient Service Center environment.

Previous customer service experience in retail or service industries.
-
Keyboard and data entry experience.
