Job Title: Pharmacist (Remote)
Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract for 6+ Months with possible extension
Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced pharmacist to join our remote team as a Prior Authorization Pharmacist. This role involves evaluating and processing prior authorization requests in alignment with clinical criteria, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process prior authorization requests according to policy and clinical criteria.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and patients when additional information is needed.
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in all work.
- Ensure secure handling of patient and company information in a remote work setting.
- Adhere to Teleworker Privacy Practices and secure work area guidelines.
Licensure and Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a pharmacist.
- Active, unencumbered pharmacist license in the state of residence. (Include dates to confirm license is active on the resume).
Experience:
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
- Prior Authorization role, preferably in a call center setting.
