Position is temp only and fully remote. Top Skillsets Sought: Master s in nursing or healthcare science background preferred, independent scientific writing experience, experience in grant writing preferred.
Job Summary:
The Medical Writer Nursing Research will provide communication and medical writing support for the Center for Pediatric Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice. The writer will work with Nurse Scientists and clinical staff to compile, write and edit deliverables in support of Client's strategic plan. The writer will establish strong, collaborative relationships across the organization, providing support for various clinical initiatives and projects.
Job Functions:
-Compile, write and edit deliverables like (articles, abstracts, summaries, posters, presentations, written and verbal) for a wide audience, both internally and externally.
-Present/translate clinical findings in a clear and concise manner, and professionally represent Client to various audiences.
-In conjunction with leadership, develop training/learning content, video scripts, newsletters, blogs, and/or articles to support clinical strategy and reach various audiences.
-Manage multiple projects, influencing cross-functional teams, to deliver on time and with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
-Proactively seek opportunities to promote research aligned with Client's Strategic Plan.
-Develop and execute strategies to highlight the unique research capabilities of the Center for Pediatric Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice and their applications within the clinical environment.
-Support grant-writing initiatives in collaboration with the Center for Pediatric Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice.

-Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office).
-Intermediate proficiency with citation management platforms (End Note).
-Intermediate knowledge of key practices, regulations, policies and procedures related to grants and/or contracts.
-Basic knowledge of grant budgeting practices.
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
-Excellent time management skills.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
