Duration: 12+ Months
Pay Range: $17 to $19.25/hr on W2
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Packaging/Manufacturing Technician I to join our pharmaceutical team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated tasks related to the assembly, filling, labeling, and packaging of pharmaceutical products. Working under the direction of a Room Leader, you will help maintain quality, safety, and regulatory standards in a cleanroom environment.

We are seeking a Packaging/Manufacturing Technician I to join our pharmaceutical team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated tasks related to the assembly, filling, labeling, and packaging of pharmaceutical products. Working under the direction of a Room Leader, you will help maintain quality, safety, and regulatory standards in a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Label, assembly, and package pharmaceutical products.
- Prepare and verify packaging components for accuracy before and after job runs.
- Maintain product quality and meet productivity targets.
- Clean packaging rooms and equipment per cGMP and SOP guidelines.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all tasks and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on in-process checks and inspections.
- Operate stationary and hand-held machinery for packaging operations.
- Work in both primary and secondary cleanroom environments.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Be available for occasional overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Must Have:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Responsible for Labeling, assembly, and package pharmaceutical products.
- Ability to meet physical and vision requirements (color vision, peripheral vision, focus).
- Willingness to work in cold environments and wear required PPE, including face masks and safety glasses.
- Clean packaging rooms and equipment per cGMP and SOP guidelines.
- Perform inspections and verifications of work, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Perform manual and automated filling and packaging for blistered and bottled items.
- Knowledge of GMP and experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
