Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist)
Location: Fairfield, CT
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Duration: 3+ months (with every other Saturday as needed)

Job Summary:
The PSR II is the face of our company, providing high-quality phlebotomy services and excellent patient care. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens, and ensure a safe, professional, and friendly environment. This role requires strong communication, accuracy, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under supervisor direction.

• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures.

• Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling.

• Maintain records, documentation, and a clean, safe workspace.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the organization positively.

Requirements:

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, overtime, and covering multiple locations.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable).

• Able to multitask and maintain accuracy.

• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Experience:

• 3+ years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric draws.

• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center preferred.

• Customer service and data entry experience helpful.
