Job Summary:
The nature of the work is focused on the monetary affairs of the company. Participates in the timely, accurate, and efficient administration of the appropriate financial system to ensure:
- Accurate financial statements
- Appropriate internal controls
- Compliance with Client policies
- Delivery of value-added information
Key Responsibilities:
- Completes system documentation including standardized work instructions and operating procedures are up to date and available for all users.
- Ensures appropriate security access of end users to the applications supported, consistent with Client policies.
- Performs periodic validation of system security to ensure compliance to policy.
- Ensures that there is appropriate training to business users of the systems supported and administrated.
- Provides advanced training as "lead expert / super users" to "power users".
- Participates in the preparation of timely and insightful financial reporting of pertinent information to allow analysis of progress against strategic plan, budget, and forecast, and to ensure integrity of the financial statements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
- 3–5 years of proven financial planning and analysis experience.
- Must be advanced in financial modeling skills using Excel.
- Experience with Client financial systems (Anaplan, Voyager) preferable but not required.
- Experience in a Fortune 500 consumer products, management consulting, or other multi-national firm is preferred.
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution channels and related financial planning/management activities is preferred.
- Self-starter that anticipates problems, identifies opportunities, and provides creative solutions through operational improvements around process and execution.
- Enthusiastic about working in a multifaceted business, along with the passion and energy to drive results.
- Team player with a positive attitude, open to learning other areas of the business and sharing team responsibilities.
