Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: California (CPT License Required)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours/Week: 40
Desired Start Date: 6 months, possibility of extension

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, whether they are undergoing routine health screenings or more critical testing. This role involves drawing high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for lab analysis while adhering to strict procedures and protocols. The PSR I fosters an environment of trust and professionalism, ensuring patients feel at ease throughout the collection process.

• Perform accurate and timely specimen collection under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, following established procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

• Exhibit confidence in performing both clinical and forensic specimen collection.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Demonstrate a strong organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.

• Flexible availability to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED

• Medical assistant or paramedic training – Preferred

• Phlebotomy Certification – REQUIRED in California

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience – Preferred

• Customer service experience in retail or service environments – Preferred

• Proficient in keyboarding and data entry – Required
