Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Ocoee, FL 34761
Duration: 3+ months (Possible Extension)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM; Every other Saturday, 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through accurate and safe blood specimen collection. This role serves as the face of the company, ensuring a professional, respectful, and confidential experience for all patients while following established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical and forensic blood draws (pediatric and geriatric)

Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Create a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

Follow company procedures and demonstrate strong organizational values
Job Requirements:

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

Excellent phlebotomy and customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong data entry and keyboarding skills

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call as needed

Reliable personal transportation (rideshare or public transportation not accepted)

Must live within 20–25 minutes of the Ocoee, FL worksite (must list home city/commute time on resume)
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA only)
Additional Notes:

Pay rate based on years of direct phlebotomy experience

Punctuality and full shift attendance required; excessive absenteeism or tardiness may result in termination
