Location: Salt Lake City, UT - Onsite
Duration: 12 Months+
Shift: 1st Shift-9-5 or 8-4
Must haves:
-
Bachelor's Degree related to our work (Chemistry, ChemE, Materials Science, Biomedical, Biochem)

Ability to work independently

Desire to work in the lab
-
Ability to learn new instrumentation and techniques quickly
Scientist (in vitro testing and development, thermochemical testing)
Pay Range: - /hour, depending on experience and education. Submittal does not guarantee rate. Manager will make an offer based on qualifications after interviews are complete.
Work hours: M-F day shift. Somewhat flexible hours
Onsite daily with possibility to work offsite for some tasks
Scientist 1 position. Preference for candidates with hands-on chemistry, wet lab, or analysis experience / relevant degree.
All candidates should have a bachelor's degree, and the specific degrees are called out below.
Description:
Looking for local candidates, contract position, potential long-term depending on business needs. Flexible schedule, full time.
Roles:
-
Provide technical skill, analytical testing, test method development, and engineering support for various medical device products.

Thermochemical analysis work using instruments in the lab
-
In vitro blood and blood simulant testing and test method development

Coordinate and support maintenance activities of lab as required

Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor or as required to support the business.
Must haves:
-
Bachelor s degree in a relevant major: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar

Experience / understanding of working in a lab

Lab work experience a strong plus

Ability to write detailed technical protocols and reports a strong plus

Strong communication skills
