About the Role
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on the Infrastructure Platform Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, architecture, development, and operations of Client Experiences' core infrastructure platforms. Think of yourself as a Jedi Master—balancing deep technical skill, architectural foresight, and operational excellence to deliver reliable, scalable platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
These platforms are foundational to application delivery, enabling rapid deployment and dependable service for both internal teams and Client’s global audience. Your mission is to navigate complex systems challenges and ensure seamless operations throughout the entire lifecycle—from initial design to decommissioning.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of container orchestration solutions, including Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) and AWS ECS.
  • Architect and manage load balancing technologies with L7 routing, VIP configurations, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and maintain OS images (Linux/Windows) including configuration, performance optimization, and monitoring.
  • Write and debug automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java, Node.js).
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across networking, compute, and storage layers.
  • Develop, maintain, and present clear technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate, prototype, and implement infrastructure solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, improve platform services, and drive adoption.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical decision-making for high-impact initiatives.
  • Provide Level 4 operational support and work closely with SRE/DevOps teams on escalations and incident response.

Key Qualifications
Technical Skills:

  • Expertise with cloud-native Kubernetes deployments on at least two major providers: AWS (EKS), Azure (AKS), GCP (GKE).
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and cloud networking (DNS, VPCs, gateways, subnetting, firewalls).
  • Experience deploying and managing API Gateways, preferably Apigee, and Internal Developer Portals (IDPs).
  • Familiarity with service mesh architectures, ideally Istio, across multi-cloud and multi-region environments.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Proficiency in performance monitoring, infrastructure tuning, and automation using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and DevOps tools.

Professional Skills:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or SRE roles supporting cloud-based systems.
  • 1–3 years of experience leading projects or technical teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Inclusive leadership approach and ability to mentor and influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences, including executives and operational teams.
