Job Title: 3rd shift Compounder
Location: Somerset, NJ, 08873
Duration: 6 Months+
Shift: 3rd Shift: M-F 10 PM - 6:30 AM
Pay $20-$24/hr on w2
Department: Production Department
Reports To: Production Manager or Shift Supervisor
Status: Nonexempt
Supervises: NA
Job Summary: Blends and mixes fragrances in tanks using precision scales.
Employee can choose to train on either first or second shift (first shift 6am-2:30pm and second shift 2pm-10:30pm) for first few weeks
Location Details (onsite, hybrid, remote; how many days per week in office - please be as detailed as possible): Onsite
Duration of Project (estimate): 6 months

Client FRAGRANCES JOB DESCRIPTION
This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisors.
Essential Responsibilities and Functions:
• Retrieves assigned batches recipe cards and reviews information for compounding, prioritizing orders with the earliest ship date first.
• Adds raw materials manually from dispensing racks, by the addition of powders or various pull cans.
• Uses the dosing cluster or mix tank dispensing stations to automatically fill certain materials to batch. Uses scales or load cells and pumps to also help with the addition of material ensuring proper sequence of mixing.
• Retrieves pre-mixes from automation area and adds to batch by weight.
• Ensures that batch is thoroughly mixed. Keeps equipment and area in proper working condition. Advises supervisor of any equipment issues.
• Maintains clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations and procedures, understanding the hazards of handling the various chemicals.
Non-essential Responsibilities and Functions:
• Assists other areas as necessary.
• Trains new Compounders.
• Participates in year-end physical inventory.

• Knowledge of cleaning solutions and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Degree or equivalency (GED) required.
• Prior fork lift experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle heavy materials including drums (lifting requirement of up to 60 lbs.)
• Possesses strong commitment to team environment dynamics.
