Phlebotomist I
Location: Sarasota, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift: M-F 10 AM to 2 PM & Every Saturday 7 AM - 11 AM
Overview:
The PSR I serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a professional and compassionate experience. Responsibilities include drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining patient trust through clear communication and safe, accurate procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens following protocols

Ensure accurate record-keeping and patient confidentiality

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

Deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision

Demonstrate strong organizational and customer service skills
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere
-
Minimum 6 months of related experience; 1+ year preferred
-
Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric and geriatric).
