Job Title: Phlebotomist I
Job Location: Danbury, CT
Job Duration:3 months
Shift: Day shift | 6:00 am - 3 pm (an hour lunch break)
Payrate: $17 - $21/ hr on w2

Job Summary:

• The PSR I serves as the face of the company, drawing blood specimens and ensuring a safe, accurate, and compassionate patient experience.
• Responsibilities include specimen collection, preparation for lab testing, and maintaining a professional, patient-focused environment.

Key Duties:

• Perform blood draws (including pediatric/geriatric) and process specimens

• Maintain records and follow all safety and quality procedures

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure patient comfort

• Work independently with minimal supervision

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of patient information

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

• 6+ months experience; 1+ year phlebotomy preferred

• Strong data entry and communication skills

• Reliable transportation

• Flexible availability (including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed)
