Job Title: Distribution Technician
Location: Bedford, MA 01730
Duration: 6 Months+ (potential for extension or conversion)

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. in a w2

Job Overview:
This role involves packing customer orders, supporting the receiving and shipping processes, and assisting with inventory staging, counts, and control.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Pack customer orders and prepare materials for shipment (LTL, TL, ocean, rail, and air freight).
• Handle incoming and outgoing materials, including finished goods, raw materials, and supplies.
• Place materials in appropriate staging and storage locations.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for material movements; update SAP system accordingly.
• Verify incoming shipments to ensure products are damage-free and accurately recorded.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Print and collate shipping documents per order.
• Communicate effectively with other departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year of general work experience (not necessarily in a warehouse).
• Willing to consider candidates with relevant transferrable skills.
• Experience with inventory control.
• High school diploma required.
• Stable work history (no short-term jobs or quick turnarounds).

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Previous certification or experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, or other powered industrial vehicles.

• Proficiency in computer software systems.
• Inventory management and control.
• General warehousing experience.
• Forklift or powered vehicle licensing and operation.
