Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift
Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Avon, CT
Duration: 3+ months (contract)
Shift Schedule:
-
Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)

Thursday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I is responsible for drawing and processing blood specimens while providing excellent patient care. This role represents the company to patients, ensures accurate specimen collection, and maintains a safe, professional, and confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform clinical and forensic blood draws (pediatric, adult, geriatric)

Prepare and process specimens following standard procedures

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality

Promote a positive and professional company image
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (1+ year preferred)

Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred

Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)

Strong customer service and data entry skills

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability (may include weekends, holidays, overtime)
