Must Include on Resume:
- A screenshot of internet speed test results from www.speedtest.net, showing minimum required speeds:
- Download: ≥ 25 Mbps
- Upload: ≥ 3 Mbps
- Active pharmacist license in the state of residence, with license number and current active dates clearly listed on the resume.
Work Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM (local time zone)
OR - Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time zone)
Telework Requirements:
- Must provide own high-speed internet with minimum broadband speeds listed above.
- Must have a smartphone capable of running a VPN token app for secure access.
- Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from interruptions, noise, and unauthorized viewing or listening during work hours.
- Must comply with Teleworker Privacy Practices ensuring all company data and equipment are secure.
- Must remain on camera during trainings and meetings.
- Must demonstrate a stable living environment suitable for remote work.
- Must secure all equipment and lock or shut down workstation when away.
Position Summary:
- Review and process prior authorizations (PA) in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Dispense prescriptions and coordinate clinical services for specialty drugs.
- Review patient profiles, medication interactions, and resolve prescription clarifications with providers.
- Perform compounding and final dispensing quality checks.
- Manage communications with patients, providers, and clinical staff.
- Handle orders via External Adjudication (EA) queues and ensure compliance with quality assurance and security protocols.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience with prior authorization or clinical case review in a high-volume setting.
- Proficiency in multitasking across clinical and administrative systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and multiple technology platforms simultaneously.
- Must provide explanations for any large employment gaps on resume.
Education & Licensing:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence (license info must be included on resume).
