Phlebotomist II
Duration: 5-6months
Location: Monroe GA
Shift: 8am to 5pm Mon - Thu
Job Summary:
The PSR II is the face of the organization, responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, requiring professionalism, confidence, and a high level of skill. PSR IIs may work in doctor’s offices, Patient Service Centers (PSCs), or other locations as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and timely under supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe and professional work environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection duties per standard procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and tube labeling post-venipuncture, including signature verification.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Provide superior customer service and promote a positive company image.

Explain procedures and build trust and confidence with patients.

Travel as needed to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Adhere to company Policies & Procedures and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
