Cardiac MRI Technologist – Critical Need

Careers Integrated Resources Inc Everett, WA (Onsite) Contractor

Job Role: Cardiac MRI Technologist – Critical Need
Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: 3 Months+

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 05:30 PM (Day) 40hrs/week
Local Pay: $70 - $85/hr. on W2
Max Pay Travel: $100/hr. - $4000/Gross weekly (Stipends included)

Position Overview:
We’re urgently seeking a Cardiac MRI Technologist to join a high-performing imaging team that specializes in cardiovascular diagnostics. This role is mission-critical — you'll be the eyes behind the magnet, helping cardiologists decode complex heart conditions with pinpoint precision.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-resolution Cardiac MRI studies, including stress perfusion, viability, flow quantification, and congenital cardiac protocols.
  • Collaborate directly with cardiologists and radiologists to tailor imaging protocols to each patient’s clinical condition.
  • Monitor ECG gating and use advanced cardiac sequences to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
  • Position patients carefully to minimize motion artifacts — because a blurry scan isn't helping anyone.
  • Administer IV contrast safely and monitor for reactions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, protocols, and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, Joint Commission, etc.).
  • Ensure MRI safety for all patients, staff, and equipment — especially in high-magnetic field environments.
  • Troubleshoot cardiac gating issues, protocol inconsistencies, and equipment performance concerns in real time.
  • Assist with ongoing quality assurance (QA) initiatives and help implement new cardiac imaging techniques.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Certification: ARRT (MR) required; ARRT (R) preferred. BLS required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac MRI experience highly preferred.
  • Will consider MRI techs with strong general MRI background and a willingness to cross-train in cardiac protocols.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Experience with Client or Client 1.5T and 3T scanners ideal. Comfort with ECG gating and cardiac-specific post-processing tools (e.g., CVI42, Medis) is a major plus.
