Phlebotomist I
Title: Phlebotomist I
Location: Cape Coral, FL
Duration: 3 months
Shift: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm and 6am-10am w/ every 3rd Saturday.
Overview:
As the first point of contact for patients, the PSR I ensures a positive experience by collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and strong phlebotomy skills to support accurate and timely diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:

Collect and process blood specimens safely and accurately.

Provide clear explanations and build patient trust.

Maintain confidentiality and precise records.

Uphold safety, professionalism, and organizational standards.

Adapt to schedule needs including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA); medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred.

Strong customer service and data entry skills.

Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy experience a plus.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
