Phlebotomist II - 1st Shift

Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Bridgeport, CT
Duration: 2+ months (Possible Extension/ Temp to Hire)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr on W2
 
Job Summary:
The PSR is the face of our company, providing a positive patient experience while performing phlebotomy and specimen processing. Responsibilities include drawing blood (pediatric, adult, geriatric), verifying patient information, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring safety and professionalism in a high-volume OB clinic.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Draw and process blood specimens accurately and safely.

• Verify patient demographics and labels; maintain proper documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and create patient trust and confidence.
• Follow established procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
• Work independently and adapt to flexible hours or multiple locations as needed.

 
Requirements:

• Phlebotomy Certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, capillary collections).
• Customer service experience preferred; data entry/keyboard skills required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if travel is required.
