Required skills/experience:
- Bachelors in business administration or related field is a hard requirement!
- 3-5 years Customer Service experience including handling of customer Purchase Orders/Contracts, preferably in manufacturing environment
Top skills:
- Working closely with customers (Purchase orders, quotes, entry of orders)
- Strong Microsoft skills (excel, ability to write well worded communications)
- Someone who enProducts complexity and isn't scared/intimated by complexity. This is a dynamic, multifaceted position.
Summary:
- Takes orders from customers and representatives.
- Responsibilities include quoting prices, inventory levels, and delivery dates.
- Maintains database records of customer profiles and prepares status reports.
- Position acts as a liaison between customer and business in expedition orders.
- Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnel.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Responsible for error free execution of quotes, orders and other orders
- management related activities.
- Build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Understand and execute contractual agreements.
- Coordinate order requirements through the MRP system and other business
- tools.
- Organize communication for internal customers to meet external customer
- requirements.
- Use professional telephone and written communication skills to include excellent
- use of grammar and sentence structure.
- Ability to flex across customers, markets, and segments to ensure timely
- responsiveness to customers.
- Participate in training, testing, and project related activities as identified.
- Represent Client to the customer in a highly effective, professional manner.
Required Education:
- Bachelors in business administration or similar.
Preferred:
- Customer Service experience or Sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
